How much does a website cost for a landscaper in the UK?
Updated 1 October 2026 · 4 minute read
A single patio or garden makeover can be worth several thousand pounds, so a website only has to win a job or two to pay for itself. Here's what one costs, and what it should do.
The price, briefly
A self-built site on Wix starts at roughly £108 a year; a designer usually charges from £1,500. Sources and the other options are in our website cost guide. Set against the size of a landscaping job, though, any of these is a small number.
One patio covers it
Checkatrade's 2026 price guides put patio laying at £65 to £475 per square metre depending on the material. Even a modest 20 m² concrete patio at the bottom of that range is about £1,300 before ground preparation. That's several times the cost of most websites, and more than six times our £199.
What a landscaping website needs
- Big garden photography, especially before-and-afters.
- A page for each job: patios, fencing, turf, driveways, full makeovers.
- A "book a free garden visit" call to action, if that's how you quote.
- Plain answers to common questions. For example, GOV.UK guidance says paving more than 5 square metres of a front garden is only permitted development if the surface is permeable. Using impermeable materials without a way for water to drain needs planning permission. Customers planning a driveway want to know that.
- Your reviews and the areas you cover.
Compared with paying for leads
Local Ladder's UK Trade Lead Cost Tracker (verified 30 September 2026) puts MyBuilder shortlists at typically £5 to £35 each, Bark leads at roughly £9 to £36 or more, and Checkatrade at £30 a month (Approved) or from £59 a month (Growth), plus VAT. A website shows people your gardens before they ever request a quote.
Where we fit
Our landscaping websites are £199 up front, including your domain and twelve months of hosting, and then £50 each year if you keep it, so £299 for three years and no contract. They lead with big garden photos, give patios, fencing and turf their own pages, and carry a "book a free garden visit" button. We build yours before you pay. See our websites for landscapers.
