Google, Maps and AI search
Get found on Google, Maps and AI search.
Customers look for trades on Google, on Google Maps, and now in AI assistants like ChatGPT. Every website we build is set up to be found in all three, and we help you get your free Google Business Profile right. It's all included in the £199.
What's built in
Six things every site gets.
No extra SEO package, no monthly fee. This is simply how we build every website.
A page for every job
Google and AI assistants match searches to pages. Someone searching “boiler service in Stockport” should land on a page about boiler servicing in Stockport, not a general home page. Every site we build has a page for each service.
Business details Google can read
Behind the scenes, every site carries structured business markup: your trade, your area, your phone number and your services, in the format search engines and AI assistants are designed to read.
Plain answers to real questions
Each site answers the questions customers actually ask, like how quickly you can come out and which areas you cover, in plain English. Clear answers like these are easy for search engines and AI assistants to pick up.
Your Google Business Profile, sorted
Your free Google profile is what shows up on Google Maps. We help you set it up or tidy it, and link it to your new site so the two back each other up.
Fast on phones
Plenty of customers look for a trade on their phone. Every site is built to load quickly and work properly on a small screen.
The same details everywhere
Your business name, number and area written the same way on your site, your Google profile and Facebook. Matching details make it easier for Google and AI tools to be sure they're all you.
How AI search works
Why AI assistants need a proper website too.
When someone asks an AI assistant for "a good electrician near me" or "who fixes flat roofs in Salford", it pulls its answer together from what it can find and understand about local businesses online. That includes websites, Google profiles and reviews.
A business with no website, or a single page that doesn't say much, gives it very little to go on. A clear site with a page for each service, the areas you cover, your contact details and plain answers to common questions gives it plenty.
There's no trick to it, and nobody controls what AI assistants say. The same things that help you on Google help you here: clear information, matching details everywhere, and good reviews.
Six things you can do yourself
These cost nothing and make a real difference. We'll talk you through them when your site goes live.
- Ask every happy customer for a Google review, and send them the direct link so it takes ten seconds.
- Reply to every review, good or bad. It shows you're active and that you care.
- Add photos of finished jobs to your Google profile regularly.
- Keep your opening hours and phone number up to date on Google.
- List the towns and areas you cover on your Google profile.
- Use exactly the same business name everywhere: vans, cards, Google, Facebook and your site.
Questions
The honest answers.
Is this included in the £199?
Yes. Everything on this page is part of every website we build. There's no extra SEO package to buy.
Will I show up in ChatGPT or Google's AI answers?
Nobody can promise that. AI assistants build their replies from what they can find and understand about businesses online. We make your site easy for them to read, and we help you get your Google profile right, which gives you the best chance.
How long does it take to show up on Google?
It varies. A new site can take a few weeks to appear for your name, and longer for competitive searches like your trade and town. Reviews and an active Google profile make the biggest difference.
Can you guarantee first place on Google?
No, and be wary of anyone who does. Google decides rankings, not web designers. What we can do is give you the right foundations and show you what helps most.
