How much does TrustATrader cost for tradespeople?
Updated 1 October 2026 · 3 minute read
TrustATrader works differently from pay-per-lead sites: you pay for membership rather than per lead. It doesn't publish prices, so here's what's known, and what to ask before you sign.
What TrustATrader offers
TrustATrader describes itself as a directory of tradespeople whose place on the site depends on their quality of service. For trades, it highlights:
- Limited memberships per area, so you get a fair share of leads.
- No commission: it says you never pay for individual leads.
- Reviews, a company profile, photo galleries and branding materials.
What it costs
There's no published price list. Local Ladder's UK Trade Lead Cost Tracker (verified 30 September 2026) records it as a callback-quote model, with 2026 estimates of £240 to £750 a year, billed in advance, on a 12-month lock-in. Treat those as estimates and get a written quote.
Questions to ask before you join
- What is the exact price for my trade and area, including VAT?
- How long is the contract, and does it renew automatically?
- How many other members in my trade cover my area?
- How do I cancel, and how much notice do I need to give?
- What happens to my reviews if I leave?
Is it worth it?
Because you pay a fixed fee, the more jobs it brings, the cheaper each one gets. Track the jobs you win from it over the year and divide the fee by that number. Our lead cost calculator helps you compare it with other sources, and our lead site comparison covers the alternatives.
