What is a dry verge?
A dry verge system uses interlocking caps fixed along the edge of a gable, instead of mortar. It stops the tiles loosening and needs very little maintenance.
Is dry ridge better than mortar?
Dry ridge systems are mechanically fixed, so they hold up well in high winds and don't need repointing. Mortar bedding still suits some older or traditional roofs.
Do I need scaffolding for ridge repairs?
