Laminate fitting
Click laminate on the right underlay, with neat beading or skirting and proper door bars.
Engineered & solid wood
Floating, glued or secret-nailed. Straight plank, herringbone and chevron.
LVT & vinyl
Click or glue-down luxury vinyl and sheet vinyl for kitchens, bathrooms and hallways.
Carpet fitting
Rooms, stairs and landings, with new gripper and underlay. Fit-only welcome.
Sanding & restoration
Old boards and parquet sanded back, gaps filled and sealed in oil or lacquer.
Subfloor preparation
Levelling compound, ply overlay and moisture checks, so the new floor stays flat.
Why prep matters
The bit you never see makes the floor.
Creaks, gaps and lifting edges nearly always come from what's underneath. That's why two quotes for the same room can look so different.
- 1We check the subfloor is flat, dry and solid before anything goes down.
- 2We level dips and humps, and overlay old boards with ply where needed.
- 3We use the underlay your floor is made for, including for underfloor heating.

Questions
Before you order your floor.
Will you fit flooring I've bought myself?
Yes. Send us the product name and the room sizes. We'll check it's right for the room and the subfloor, and tell you if you need any trims or underlay.
How much extra flooring should I order?
Most fitters allow around 10% extra for cuts, a bit more for herringbone or awkward rooms. We'll measure up and tell you before you order.
Can it go over underfloor heating?
Many engineered woods, LVTs and some laminates can. It depends on the product, so check the maker's guidance, and we'll use the right underlay.
Do I need to move the furniture?
Clear small things and breakables. We can move most furniture between rooms on the day. Let us know about anything very heavy.
