Can you give me a price from photos?
Photos and a few rough measurements usually allow a guide price. A detailed quote normally follows a home visit and measure, because walls and floors are rarely square.
What is the difference between a carpenter and a joiner?
The terms overlap. Joiners traditionally make items such as doors, windows and furniture in a workshop, while carpenters fit and build on site. Many tradespeople do both.
What materials are fitted furniture made from?
Painted furniture is commonly made from MDF or tulipwood, which give a smooth, stable finish. Natural finishes use solid timber or veneered board, such as oak or walnut. Each has trade-offs in cost, stability and look.
How long does bespoke joinery take?
